Worm Food

Wormfood reggae/ska special featuring South London All Skas / They Say Jump / The Activators / Count Skylarkin

September’s Wormfood is an ode to all things reggae and ska, with a little extra international flavour thrown in. Topping off the bill is South London All Skas, a brand new collective of old hands from some of the capital’s finest bands playing instrumental ska in the old school Jamaican way. They’re joined by They Say Jump who add their own Latin twist to the mix, Lincoln 10-piece The Activators, who top it off their reggae / ska sound with a touch Celtic, Punk, 60s Garage and on the wheels is the man who David Rodigan calls “A true unsung hero” – Count Skylarkin, who has toured with The Wailers, done remixes for Trojan Record and will be paying tribute to the legendary DJ Derek’s traditional slot at his traditional spot at the Larmer Tree festival this year.
